About me.
(The short version)
- My name is Rovigo Manucci.
- I’ve been a product designer for over 10 years, and since moving to Ireland in 2014, I’ve honed my craft, focusing on business impact.
- I love turning ideas into reality through rapid prototyping, refining until I get that “wow” effect from users and stakeholders.
- Before product design, I worked across branding, packaging, print, web, and UI development, with several years as a product manager, leading a product I first brought to life through design.
- Originally from Venezuela, I also hold Italian citizenship, which lets me live and work freely across the EU without visa sponsorship.
- I am currently living in Cork, Ireland, but open to new adventures anywhere in Ireland/Europe.
My design journey.
How I started designing?
It all began the first time I saw Adobe Illustrator in action. I was blown away by how you could create shapes and forms that could recreate reality. I started by redesigning cereal boxes and chocolate wrappers, and that opened up an endless world of possibilities in my mind.
The internet became my first teacher, and before long I was taking on freelance projects, designing stationery and logos. The rest is history!
How I became a product designer?
At the beginning, I was more focused on prints and I was asked to deliver the company website for the company I was working at the time. I wanted to create work people would enjoy and appreciate. After building a few visually appealing websites, I realised many users still struggled to reach their goals. That moment led me to UX, where I found a structured way to uncover real needs and design solutions that truly work.
Over the years, I’ve learned that you are never the user, and they often do not know exactly what they need. Careful observation, along with qualitative and quantitative analysis, is key to revealing pain points and shaping meaningful solutions.
Where am I right now in my career?
I’m currently designing complex healthcare platforms that replace slow, manual processes with intuitive digital experiences. It’s a space where every design decision can have a measurable impact on efficiency, accuracy, and ultimately, people’s lives.
My latest challenge is building Remedi AI, an agentic AI that automatically validates, requests missing information, and prepares and submits hospital claim forms to insurers, with a human-in-the-loop for ad-hoc validations and commands. It’s a project that blends design, automation, and healthcare expertise, aiming to remove friction from one of the most tedious parts of hospital operations.
What I’m looking for?
Looking ahead, I want to keep working on products where design is a strategic driver of impact. I’m looking for teams that trust design to uncover insights, solve real problems, and deliver measurable results. Ownership, collaboration, and the freedom to explore solutions that truly serve users are what I value most.
My design approach.

Understand.
Clarity before craft. I uncover the real problem, align goals, and define success before design begins.

Create.
Ideas become tangible quickly. I build, test, and refine so solutions evolve with momentum, not assumptions.

Validate.
Decisions deserve evidence. I lean on research and data to confirm what works, not just what looks good.

Deliver.
Design isn’t a handoff, it’s a partnership. I keep teams aligned through transparency and collaboration.
My working experience.

My design values.
Start with the outcome.
Define what success looks like before touching pixels.
Prototype to learn.
Build fast, test early, refine until it feels effortless.
Evidence over ego.
Let research and data guide decisions, not personal preference.
Share often.
No big reveals, just constant visibility and collaboration.
Act like an owner.
Treat every project as if it’s yours from concept to delivery.
Balance business, user, and product.
Make trade-offs transparent so all three win.
My work.
Simplified hospital admissions & insurance claim forms processing, boosting cash flow up to 75%.
The problem.
Hospitals were relying on paper-based workflows to manage claims and patient signatures, leading to delays, missing data, and rising unbilled claims. There was no visibility into pre-admission completions, creating inefficiencies and hurting cash flow.
Results so far.
